The mentorship program at NLU Tripura is a critical component in fostering academic and personal growth, providing students with guidance, support, and direction throughout their educational journey. Mentoring provides students emotional and instrumental support, guidance, encouragement and better environment in the University. Recognizing the importance of mentorship in shaping future legal professionals, National Law University, Tripura (NLU Tripura) proposes the establishment of a structured Mentorship Programme. This program aims to connect students with experienced faculty members, legal professionals, and alumni to enhance their academic performance, professional development, and personal growth.
Holistic Growth: To promote the overall development of students by fostering leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills, as well as encouraging a commitment to social justice.
Mentorship Meetings: Regular at least one fortnightly meeting between mentors and mentees will be scheduled, either in person or virtually. These meetings will provide opportunities for discussion, guidance, and feedback.
Workshops and Training: The program will include workshops and training sessions for both mentors and mentees to ensure that they are well-equipped to maximize the benefits of the mentorship relationship.
Monitoring and Evaluation: The progress of the mentorship relationships will be monitored through regular feedback and evaluation by the Vice-Chancellor, NLU Tripura. This will ensure that the program is meeting its objectives and that both mentors and mentees are benefiting from the experience.
