About Dr. Pradip Chouhan

Pradip Chouhan obtained his Post Graduate degree from the Department of Economics, Tripura University, securing a first-class first position. He has also obtained his Ph.D. degree from the Economics department, Tripura University. His doctoral thesis entitled “Labour in Rubber Plantations of Tripura. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Dr. Pradip has also played an instrumental role in various research projects as a research assistant, proving his versatility and adaptability as a scholar.

He used his refined abilities to teach students as a regular faculty member in the Economics Department at Sister Nivedita University, Kolkata for two years, imparting his insightful knowledge and experience. Before coming to work at the National Law University, Tripura, he was an assistant professor at the ICFAI University, Tripura, where his devotion to teaching and hard work motivate and inspire students.

Dr. Pradip’s scholarly contributions are widely recognized and appreciated, with various research articles published in esteemed UGC referred and peer-reviewed journals. His areas of research interest are diverse and encompass a wide range of topics such as Agricultural, Labour, North-East, and Development Economics, reflecting his deep passion and commitment to advancing knowledge and understanding in these fields.
